Great product By Moonspire We used these a year ago, in combo with the gel, and got rid of the ants. There were a ton of ants dead in the poison, and I’m guessing the rest went back to the colony, because they just stopped coming.
However, the product does specifically state that it only works for sweet and protein feeding ants. If you do not have those type of ants, it will likely not help your situation. Since our ants were making an “ant-line” directly to our cat’s wet food, we knew they were protein ants. If you don’t have such a clear indicator, though, I would suggest getting a pack of these as well as a pack of a nonspecific kind and placing both in the trail. If the ants are more attracted to one bait or the other, then you will know.

Ants are different, but “my” ants didn’t respond to this. By systems student After 15 hours with this bait right in the middle of the trail (and properly opened, according to the instructions)the ants were simply going around and not interested at all. They reformed their trail right over the edge of the bait trap. I think ONE ant wandered into the poison, and that was it.
